2025-2026 Beginner Camps
River Lakes Youth Hockey offers FREE Beginner Hockey Camps and Learn to Skate programs. Skaters do not need any skating experience. The ages for these programs are around 4-10 years old.
The camps and programs are offered at both of our rinks located in Richmond and Paynesville. This makes it easy to attend the ice sessions close to home.
Beginner Hockey Players will be given all the equipment they need to jump on the ice.
Learn to Skate participants should bring warm clothes and some type of protective helmet for their head. A bike helmet will work.
These programs are great for kids that just want to learn to skate or maybe are thinking about joining the hockey association, and want to try getting on the ice.
The programs are coached by certified hockey and skating instructors.
